This is a pivotal time for our Finance team as we continue to build the financial frameworks that will propel Oxygen Conservation toward its ambitious goals. As our Management Accountant, you will report to our wonderful Head of Finance (Alice Bayley) and be responsible for ensuring that each of our estates are financially robust and well-reported. Impact:
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Proficient in preparing management accounts, financial reports, and variance analyses to inform business decisions.
- Excellent at managing budgets, forecasting, and financial planning within a commercial setting.
- An effective communicator, able to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-finance colleagues.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborative by nature, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

- A passion for adventure (however that resonates with you), spending time in nature and connecting with the outside world.
- And let’s be honest, you must be really nice too. Sharing snacks on long journeys or a packed lunch whilst out in the driving rain is mandatory!
What we’d love you to do
- Prepare and manage the monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for our estates.
- Support Alice in developing annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial plans that align with our strategic goals.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with non-finance teams to develop and track financial KPIs that support our conservation objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and support the preparation of financial statements and audit processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Help drive our business forward by acting as a key point of contact for Estate Managers and other stakeholders to provide financial support and guidance, such as discussing transactions or operational details.
