Providing Housing for 50 People: We will expand the number of quality homes we provide, creating secure housing for 50 individuals in rural communities.
Strengthening Rural Communities: By offering homes at affordable rents, we’re making it possible for more people to stay connected to their communities and livelihoods, helping to build resilience and long-term prosperity in rural areas.

Creating Inspirational Opportunities

We’re committed to making conservation a career path that’s open and accessible to all:

New Employment Opportunities: Our work will provide incredible opportunities in both the central Oxygen Conservation team as well as the individual estates. In 2025 we will be welcoming new Estate Managers, Lawyers, Data Scientists, and Ecotourism Experts, alongside hiring local businesses to help to support our individual Estates including fencing contractors, tree planters, peatland restoration experts, and a wide range of property-related trades.
Paid Internships Across Our Portfolio: 2025 will be the third year of our amazing internship programme. We’re scaling the opportunity and will be welcoming five paid internships. Each of these roles will offer hands-on experience in conservation, focusing on nurturing the next generation of environmental leaders. These internships provide an invaluable gateway into the sector, opening doors for talented individuals who are eager to make a difference.

Natural Flood Management: We will be implementing new interventions designed to manage flood risk in natural ways—using techniques that slow water flow and create habitats for diverse species.
