We wanted to share something new we’ve been working on behind the scenes for the past couple of months: Inside Oxygen, our new vlog series, including our incredible Christmas Special, which was released last week – albeit, thanks to climate change, we couldn’t quite bring you snow… even though we were in Sweden.
At its heart, Inside Oxygen exists to bring to life one of our key values: radical transparency.
We’re building something that doesn’t exist yet. The world’s first conservation-focused unicorn company. One that operates at Scale, attracts serious capital, delivers real environmental and social impact, and still feels human.
That sounds neat when written down.
The reality is far messier, harder, more exhausting, and far more interesting.
Inside Oxygen is our way of sharing that reality.
We want to show you what we’re actually doing, how we’re doing it, the people behind it, and the work it takes day in, day out, to achieve £1 billion of AUM by 2030. Not the polished highlights alone, but the graft, the travel, the decisions, the contradictions and compromises, the learning, and occasionally the chaos.
This series is about people. Our team. Our partners. The work on the ground. The moments that don’t make it into decks or press releases but define whether this model succeeds or fails.
A huge thank you is owed to Benjamin J. Marshall and Penny-Mai Bullivant, whose videography has been absolutely exceptional from day one. And special praise to Penny for the production quality, storytelling, and care she brings to every edit. This series simply wouldn’t exist without that level of craft, creativity, and commitment.
The Christmas Special 🎄
Last week, we released our Christmas Special that documents our trip to Sweden, where we were invited to keynote at the University of Gothenburg.
It’s a brilliant snapshot of what Scaling Conservation actually looks like in practice: early starts, long travel, conversations with academics, investors, and policymakers, and deep discussions about where natural capital is heading globally.
Alongside the vlog, we’ve also written up our reflections and learnings from the trip. If you’d like to go deeper, you can read that article here.
You’ll also find links to other vlog episodes across the Oxygen ecosystem if you want to explore further here.
One Small Ask
If you’d like to give our marketing team an end-of-2025 present, there’s a very simple way to do it.
Please subscribe to our YouTube channel.
We’re closing in quickly on 1,000 subscribers, and hitting that milestone genuinely helps us justify continuing to invest in making content like this and sharing it more widely. If we get there, we’ll keep pulling back the curtain and bringing you inside the work of scaling conservation.
Finally, thank you for following our journey, supporting our work, and believing that conservation can be done differently.
We wish you a very restful holiday season and an ambitious and audacious start to the year ahead.
